Easy Apple Cake (Made with 3 Apples)
A soft, creamy apple cake that comes together quickly and tastes amazing!
Ingredients
3 medium apples, peeled and sliced
2 eggs
100 g (½ cup) sugar
120 ml (½ cup) milk
80 ml (⅓ cup) vegetable oil or melted butter
150 g (1¼ cups) all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease and line an 8-inch (20 cm) round cake pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and creamy.
Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Stir in the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon until a smooth batter forms.
Fold in about two-thirds of the sliced apples.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Arrange the remaining apple slices on top.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the cake cool for 10–15 minutes before removing it from the pan.
Dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
Tips
For extra flavor, sauté the apple slices in a little butter and cinnamon before adding them to the batter.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Store covered at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
