Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) lean ground turkey
ΒΌ cup plain breadcrumbs
1 large egg, beaten
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped (optional)
Β½ tsp garlic powder
ΒΌ tsp onion powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
4–6 small cubes fresh mozzarella cheese
1 jar (24 oz / 680 g) marinara sauce
Cooked pasta or zucchini noodles, for serving (optional)
Instructions

  1. Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until everything is just combined.
  2. Stuff the Meatballs
Take about 2 tablespoons of the turkey mixture and flatten it slightly in your hand. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center, then wrap the meat around the cheese and roll into a ball, making sure the cheese is fully sealed inside. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  3. Heat the Sauce
Pour the marinara sauce into a large skillet or saucepan and warm it over medium heat until it begins to gently simmer.
  4. Cook the Meatballs
Carefully add the stuffed meatballs to the sauce. Cover the pan and let them cook for 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the turkey is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Serve and Enjoy
Serve the meatballs hot with plenty of marinara sauce over pasta, zucchini noodles, or alongside crusty bread. Enjoy the delicious melted mozzarella center in every bite!
