🛒Ingredients :
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on or off
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, optional
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, optional
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
👩🍳How to Make It:
- Dry and Season the Shrimp
Pat the shrimp dry so they sear rather than steam. Season with smoked paprika if using, salt, and black pepper.
- Bloom the Garlic
Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and stir for about 1 minute, just until fragrant.
- Sear Until Tender
Arrange the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove them from the heat as soon as they turn pink and opaque.
- Develop the Pan Sauce
Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up the browned bits from the skillet. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes, then stir in the lemon juice and red pepper flakes if using.
- Glaze and Finish
Return the shrimp to the skillet and turn them through the garlic butter sauce. Scatter with parsley and serve hot with the pan juices.
