Creamy Garlic Chicken Pasta with Rotini
A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring tender chicken, rotini pasta, and a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce that’s perfect for a cozy family dinner.
Ingredients
12 oz (340 g) rotini pasta
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
2 tablespoons butter (28 g)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
1 cup chicken broth (240 ml)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (100 g)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the rotini pasta according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season the sliced chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and mix well.
Add the cooked rotini pasta and toss until evenly coated in the creamy garlic sauce.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
