Juicy garlic butter steak bites served with creamy loaded mashed potatoes, melted cheddar, and crispy bacon for a cozy comfort dinner.

🍴 Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs steak, cut into bite-size cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

👩🏽‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain well.
  2. Mash the potatoes with butter, heavy cream, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in part of the cheddar cheese, then top with the remaining cheddar and crispy bacon.
  4. Season the steak bites with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking.
  6. Lower the heat, add butter and minced garlic, then toss the steak bites until glossy and coated in garlic butter.
  7. Serve the steak bites beside the loaded mashed potatoes, then garnish with parsley.
