Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon

Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 12–15 minutes
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz / 170 g each)
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup (60 ml) honey
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
1 tsp sesame oil (optional, for extra flavor)
Garnish
1 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges
Instructions
Pat the salmon dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and sesame oil.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the salmon skin-side down (if using skin-on) and cook for 4–5 minutes.
Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 3–4 minutes.
Pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet and spoon it over the salmon as it simmers.
Continue cooking for 2–3 minutes, until the sauce thickens into a glossy glaze and the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Transfer to a serving plate and drizzle with the remaining sauce.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped parsley, then garnish with lemon wedges.
